How much does it cost?

If your poem is accepted, you choose from three publication tiers: Basic Publication at $34.99, Standard Publication at $69.99, or the Featured Poet Experience at $104.99. Every tier includes professional editing, formatting, ISBN registration, and Amazon distribution. Higher tiers add an author bio, an eBook copy, a featured placement, and a paperback copy. What is included in each publication tier?

Every tier includes the complete done-for-you publishing process: professional cover design, interior layout, editorial review, formatting, ISBN registration, copyright filing, distribution setup on Amazon, and ongoing listing management. The Standard tier ($69.99) adds your author bio and an eBook copy. Can I submit more than one poem?

No. Each poet may submit only one poem.

How do I check the status of my submission?

Visit our Check Status page and enter the email address you used when submitting your poem. You will be able to view your current status, including whether it is under review, approved, or confirmed for publication.

What if I do not receive a confirmation email?

Check your junk or spam folder for an email from "firstpoempublished.com". If you still cannot locate it, contact us at submission@firstpoempublished.com.

Will I receive royalties from book sales?

No. This is a shared anthology model where the participation fees cover all production and distribution costs. There are no individual royalties for contributors. Learn more about what to expect.

Am I required to purchase copies of the book?

No. Purchasing copies is completely optional. If you want copies to share with family, friends, or colleagues, they are available at standard retail pricing, but there is no obligation to buy. We do not use pressure tactics or follow up with sales calls.

What can I expect after the book is published?

Once published, the book remains available on Amazon and other retailers indefinitely. You can share your publication credit, purchase copies if desired, and use this experience as a stepping stone in your writing journey. We make no guarantees about sales volume or bestseller status.
